Da Do's

I dig trucks. You know how boys are good at heavy equipment sound effects? We'll I'm no exception. My mom tries to play along, but it just doesn't come out right. She tries, but she can't do it. (She's a girl.)

So here in this photo I am at a house packed with toys. My new friend Will has a LOT of da-do's (tractors). zoo schmoo. This place was so fun!! I even got to stay up way way way past my bedtime. My grammy and grandfather were on the AM shift so my mom didn't mind.

Auntie Schoooo!!!! Say it!! Isn't it fun?! Auntie Schooo!! (I am SO proud I can say her name.) You know what she does for me? On command? All I need to do is point at a switch on the wall and say ITE!! ITE!! and she'll pick me up and let me flip the switch on and off and on and off and on... and it's so much fun!! She even feeds me snacks when I kindly say beesch! beesch!! When she's in town, my mom could be on the moon for all I care.

Actually, maybe my mom did go to the moon. For a couple of days there I was staying with my Grammy and Grandfather and I was having myself some fun! We went to the park, on walks, and played crash with my grandfather. He turned his table upsidedown and I got to get on top. He would drive it around on the ground until I fell out! CRASH!!!!!!!

Now we're back at home and I have resumed watching all the construction in my neighborhood. I hope there's as many da do's in our new neighborhood as there are here. My mom doesn't.

Daddy's Day!!

While it's still all about me, today my Daddy is second in line. Thanks, Daddy, for being my bestest friend and being so nice to my mama. And while I'm at it, Happy Daddy's Day to my Grandfather, my Bappa, and my great grandpas! I've learned how to give kisses so I'm sending one to each one of you.

New word alert: beeeeeeesh (please) while I frantically wipe my hand on my fat tummy.

Ralph Furley?

I love to play in the "wa wa" and every time my mama pulls out my sandals, I say WA WA!! WA WA!! over and over again until I am finally knee deep. My mama says I look like Ralph Furley in my swim outfit. Ralph must be hot.

What's new in Deanland you might be asking? I can talk. Zoo zoo zoo! Shoe! Owl! Dean! Dadeee (an advancement from dada)! Choo choo! Ta-shee (taxi). And let me tell you, it makes me PROUD! After every new word I follow up with a big toothy grin and then say the same word over and over and over again.

Not only have I begun using big boy words, but I also have moved onto a big boy slide! Check it, yo!! This is at that mad playground I was telling you about. I actually schwapped my head on the sides of this a couple of times and have since reconsidered its fun-factor. NOT so fun after all.
