Back to IDAHO!
Of course I wore a costume on our ride out to Idaho. It's the first thing I packed.
And do you know what I did the moment I jumped out of the car upon arrival at the rock house? I ran over to my dad and told him I wanted to get to work catching frogs. It's my job and I take it very seriously. Dylan even found a dried up dead one (bleh). It was super cool.
Every day we played and played and played, and soaked in the hot tub, and took four wheeler rides, ate a burger at Warren, and looked for wildlife. I even invited a deer into the house. I hollered out to him that I wouldn't kill him. But he just kept licking the salt block. Bummer. Oh!!! And speaking of wildlife... I got stung by a yellow jacket!! Hard core!! That was NOT my favorite part of the wilderness.
I did like getting to hang out with all my grandparents. I got to look into Grammy's turbo telescope. That was rad. And of course roasting marshmallows with everyone at Man Camp was great. As was the hot chocolate served out of Grammy and Bapop's camper.
As you might know, I'm an expert builder. So of course I constructed a troll trap in Long Gulch where Papa was talking to the salmon (it's true). And we made a real fort! I love my German heritage.
And then Kash visited us! I love him. He is almost 8! And that makes him better. He crossed the Secesh by himself... so I did, too. He drove the boat in McCall, so did I. He went out on the tube behind the boat ... so did I. Good thing he didn't jump off a cliff.
