California = Heaven on Earth

Oh, boy! Do we have some catching up to do. And I know exactly where to start... CALIFORNIA!!! My new BFF, Kingsley! The Bat Caves! The CHIPMUNKS!!!!!!!!! Whew. Having fun is exhausting.

I had been hearing rumblings of flying down to visit Auntie Tracy and Disneyland. But I had no idea that I would be out of my mind having so much fun every second of every day. Down there, even sleeping is fun. I wish we could stay there forever!

So, first I'll introduce you to Kingsley. He's a good guy. He's my friend and I wuv him. Just wook at him! I miss you, man.




If he were a nerd, I would still wuv him because guess what. He has A BUNKBED!!!!!!!!!!! And we made good use of it while we were there. I think it was made for sleeping, but it's best utilized as a secret fort or launch board. We spent most of our time wrestling around with each other in that room. If you had told me that that was Disneyland, I would have believed you. It was that rad.

One morning, my dad even found me sitting on the toilet eating candy. Kingsley was opening the wrappers for me and I was eating away. He's a good guy, right?!

We also got to hike up to the Bat Caves. That's where they use to film the old school Batman episodes. Now, you can usually catch someone doing (nude) photo shoots up there (note the lovelies at the end of the tunnel). This time was no exception, but they were kind enough to put their clothes back on while we were exploring. And when we were done, we got to catch polliwogs down in a stream! I am telling you, this place is FUN FUN FUN!!!


As if that weren't enough, we also got to spend a day at the beach in Malibu. Mama and Auntie Tracy shopped while Dad, Uncle Mike and us kids played on the sand. We even found a starfish!!!

When we got home, of course we had to get all the sand off, right? In Portland, our bath water is plain old blah water. But in LA, you get to pick your color!!!

Seriously, Portland, I hope you're taking notes.
