Not all strangers are strange.

Mom and Dad passed me off to two new people recently. One was a man with a long white beard and a tacky red jumpsuit. He WAS strange and I didn't want to sit on his lap AT ALL. And you wouldn't believe it. Everyone just stood around taking pictures of my predicament as if it were a good idea. The second man I was handed to also had white hair (but much less of it) and he was wearing a black robe. He poured water on my head and told me I was now protected as God's child. That DID sound like a good idea so I let him carry me away from my mom and dad... all the way into the crowd of people and back without crying. All my grandparents, both aunties, uncle, mom and dad couldn't believe it.

A couple of days ago, my mom dropped me off at my grandparents house for some fun. Have you ever played hide and go seek with fishy crackers? You haven't lived until you've played this with your grandpa. My grandpa was hiding my food all over the house for me to find. I think he was eating them, too. That's ok, though. I share with anyone who plays with me. For now.

Time for me to go run, fall flat on my face, and cry again. One week until Christmas!
